How to perform a cleaning cycle:
- Press the menu key
- Select Maintenance
- Select Printer Maintenance
- Select Clean Print Nozzle
Problems you might encounter
Problem: Printing blank pages / fading on print
Printouts are coming out very faded or blank
Resolution
These cartridges are simply a plastic tank that holds the ink

- If the print quality is poor or no ink is appearing on the paper then try doing 2-3 head cleans/nozzle cleans
- Leave 20 minutes between each clean
Problem: Ink not drying/ Smudging
The ink is not drying on the labels
Resolution
- This cartridge only works with mailing grade labels
- If cheaply bought glossy labels are used it can prevent the ink from drying
Problem: Cartridge is the wrong size
The cartridge looks different to previously used cartridges
Resolution
These cartridges often differ in shape or size but they should fit and function the same
- Check that the customer has ordered the correct cartridge for there printer
- Double check that customer has tried to install the cartridges into their printer
- Check that the customer is installing the cartridge the correct way round
