Problem: Cartridge not recognised
Cartridge is installed but ink tank light is flashing (Support Code = 1680)
Resolution 1
- Check the cartridges are installed in the correct positions
Resolution 2
- Remove each cartridge, wipe the chip with a dry cloth and re-install them by pushing down till they "click" into place
Problem: Some Ink left Reading as empty
- It is possible that a very small amount of ink may be visible when it reads as empty.
- This is due to the design of these cartridges and is not a fault.
Problem: Printing blank pages / fading on print
Printouts are coming out very faded or blank
Resolution 1
- If the print quality is poor or no ink is appearing on the paper then try doing 2-3 head cleans/nozzle cleans
- Leave 20 minutes between each clean
Resolution 2
- Switch off printer and unplug it for 10 mins
- Re-install the cartridge
