Problems you might encounter 

Problem: Cartridge not recognised

The cartridge has been installed correctly but it's reporting as not recognised

Resolution

Solution 1

• 1. Remove the cartridge and install the used or new OEM cartridge. Then close the printer cover

• 2. When the printer stops after detecting, take out the OEM cartridge.

• 3. Reinstall in the printer & repeat steps if required.

Solution 2

• 1. If the cartridge is not recognised

• 2. Remove the cartridge

• 3. Gently cut off the black carbon strip on the chip (down the middle)

• 4. Reinstall in the printer & repeat steps if required
