Problem: Cartridge not recognised
Cartridge has been correctly installed into the printer but is not being registered.
Resolution
- 1. Remove the cartridge from the printer
- 2. Remove the imaging unit from the printer
- 3. Re-install both the cartridge and imaging unit into the printer
Problem: Wrong Size
Cartridge does not fit in the printer and the door will not close.
Resolution
- Check the chip position, ensuring the chip fixing screw is tightened and the chip is tilted.
- Check the sponge in the powder entrance of the drum by lifting its cover, as shown in the image below. The sponge should be positioned on the right, not sunk or fallen, as this could cause the cartridge to not fit into the printer.

- Press Menu (Wrench Button)
- Select Reports
- Select Menu settings page
- Select ok
Serial Number/Other Printer Info
- Press Menu (Wrench Button)
- Select Reports
- Select Asset Report
- Select ok
