Problem: Fading on print
The printer is producing very faded print/ a lack of print on the page
Resolution
- If the print quality is poor or no ink is appearing on the paper, try performing 2-3 head cleans/nozzle cleans.
- Leave 20 minutes between each clean.
Problem: Printing blank pages
The ink cartridge printed one or two pages and then stopped printing.
Resolution
- It could be that the tape that covers the breathing hole has not been removed.
- Be sure the breathing hole on the cartridge has been released, this is done by removing a small rip strip so that the cartridge has air supply.
Error "Cartridge is not compatible"
The compatible cartridge has been installed correctly and the error message (Cartridge is not compatible) has appeared
Resolution
- Remove the affected cartridge/cartridges from the printer.
- Turn the printer off and wait for 2 minutes.
- Turn your printer back on and wait for a further 2 minutes.
- Once the printer warns that certain cartridge/cartridges are missing, re-install them one at a time.
Error: "Cartridge not recognised"
The compatible cartridge is not clicking in correctly and the printer is not registering it as installed. This might be caused by loose screws inside the printer affecting the cartridge's connection.
Resolution

Remove the affected cartridge(s) from your printer carefully.

Turn off the printer completely.

Open the printer cover and inspect the screws on the sides of the color cartridges.

If any screws are loose, tighten them gently.

Turn the printer back on and wait for about 2 minutes.

Reinstall the cartridges one at a time, ensuring each cartridge clicks securely into place.

Use your printer as normal.
Warning message "Replace Ink Cartridge"
The printer is advising you to replace the newly installed cartridge.
Resolution

Uninstall the cartridges and re-install the old replaced cartridges.

Continue using the original cartridges (even if the ink level is reporting as low) until the printer shows "replace cartridge".

Once the printer reports "replace cartridge", please replace old cartridges with new ones and continue printing as normal.
Please only replace the cartridges when the printer advises you to, not when you get a 'Low Ink' notification. This is just a warning that your ink is low.
Problem: Cartridge keeps on popping out of the cartridge carriage
The cartridge is being installed correctly, but the cartridge keeps on popping up
Resolution 1
- With the cartridge installed, where "PUSH" is listed on the cartridge label, push firmly until you hear a click.
Resolution 2
- With the cartridges next to the problem cartridge removed, install the cartridge and where "PUSH" is listed on the cartridge label, push firmly until you hear a click.
Resolution 3
- In rare instances, the clip can become damaged in transit and prevent the cartridge from clicking into place. Slight force can be applied to this clip to move it into the correct position (Using another cartridge as an example of the correct clip position)
- Afterwards, install it into the printer and where "PUSH" is listed on the cartridge label, push firmly until you hear a click.
