Step 1.

Remove the new toner cartridge from its packaging.

Step 2.

Rock the new toner cartridge from side to side 5-6 times to distribute the toner evenly.

Step 3.

Remove the white tape from the underside of the toner cartridge. Following this, install the new toner cartridge into the printer. (Please ensure that all the white tape is removed before installation)

Problem: Error (Toner low)

The toner cartridge has been correctly installed but the printer is reporting "toner low".

Resolution

This can be caused when the seal on the underside of the cartridge isn't removed fully.

Please see the steps above (under "Installation Instructions) for information on how to remove the seal from the cartridge.

Problem: Marks on page 

Printouts have marks on.

Resolution

• Print 2-3 pages this may clear the problem.
