|

"Used Cartridge Installed"
- Please note this is just a warning message.
- When the message appears, press OK to continue.
- You should now be able to print as normal.
- This error should only appear once for each cartridge.
"Non HP-Chip detected"
- This could be due to a new HP firmware update on the printer.
- Please contact our customer care centre for more information.
"Non HP Cartridges"
- This is just a warning message to state that the cartridges are not genuine HP. This is not an error.
- When the message appears, press OK to continue.
- You should now be able to print as normal.
"Cartridge Memory Missing"
- Remove the cartridge from the printer and switch the machine off at the mains for 10 minutes.
- Clean the chip with a lint-free cloth or tissue.
- Reinstall the cartirdge.
My prints are faded
- If the print quality is poor, remove the toner cartridge from the printer and gently rock it side to side.
- This movement helps distribute the toner evenly within the cartridge.
- After rocking the cartridge 5–6 times, reinsert it and print a test page.
- If the issue persists, check the life of maintenance items in case they need replacing
I'm seeing streaks on my prints
- Remove the toner cartridge from the printer and gently rock the cartridge from side to side.
- This movement helps distribute the toner evenly within the cartridge.
- Carefully clean the drum roller to remove any excess toner.
- Re-insert the cartridge into the printer and print a test page.
- If the problem persists, repeat the previous steps.
There are faint characters on my prints
- Printouts have faint characters / letters appearing down the page.
- Print 15–20 pages and see if the problem persists.
