Replace Drum / Drum End / No Drum Installed
- With Brother consumables, you must manually reset the counter to let the machine know an item has been replaced.
- Make sure the machine is turned on.
- Make sure the machine's cover is closed.
- Press the Stop/Exit button to temporarily clear the error.
- Press Menu.
- Use the up and down arrows to find Machine Info, then press OK.
- Select Reset Menu.
- Select Drum, then press Yes to reset.
- When the printer displays Accepted, the printer should be ready to use.
My prints are faded
- If the print quality is poor, remove the toner cartridge from the printer and gently rock it side to side.
- This movement helps distribute the toner evenly within the cartridge.
- After rocking the cartridge 5–6 times, reinsert it and print a test page.
- If the issue persists, check the life of maintenance items in case they need replacing
