Problem: Faded Output
Printouts are coming out faded.
Resolution
- If the print quality is poor, remove the toner cartridge from the printer and gently rock the cartridge from side to side.
- This movement helps distribute to the toner evenly within the cartridge.
- After rocking the cartridge 5-6 times, re-insert the cartridge into the printer and print a test page.
Printing Supplies and Configuration Page
ML-1860 & ML-1865 printer
To print a Configuration page
- In ready mode press and hold the print screen button (Fig.1) for about 10 seconds, until the green LED blinks slowly and release.
To print a Supplies information report page
- In ready mode press and hold the print screen button (Fig.1) for about 15 seconds, until the green LED blinks rapidly and release.

SCX-3200 & SCX-3205 printer
To print a Configuration page
- In ready mode, press and hold the stop/clear button about 2 seconds until the Status LED blinks slowly, and release the button.
To print a Supplies information report page
- In the ready mode, press and hold the stop/clear button for about 6 seconds until the Status LED is on, and release.
