Error: Supply Memory Error
After installing the cartridge, a Supply Memory error may appear on the printer.
Please note: This cartridge may arrive without a chip - This cartridge does not always have a chip, as it is not required for the cartridge to function normally. If you get this error, please follow the below troubleshooting steps.
Resolution
- Go to the printer control panel
- Press the select button (This is the green button with a tick)
- After pressing select, the error message will clear from the display
Problem: Faded Output
Printouts are coming out faded.
Resolution
- If the print quality is poor, remove the toner cartridge from the printer and gently rock the cartridge from side to side.
- This movement helps distribute to the toner evenly within the cartridge.
- After rocking the cartridge 5-6 times, re-insert the cartridge into the printer and print a test page.
Problem: Faint Characters on Printouts
Printouts have faint characters / letters appearing down the page
Resolution
- Print 15-20 pages and see if the problem persists.
Problem: Printing blank pages
Printouts are blank
Resolution
- Ensure seals/ tape or protective covers have been removed
- Remove and reinstall cartridge
