| Cartridge Save white packaging foam, found inside product boxes, is either made of LDPE (Low density polyethylene) or EPE (expanded polyethylene) - both of these are types of plastics. The average recycled content of this foam is 58% and this varies between 0% and 95% on a per product basis. At time of writing, LDPE & EPE foam cannot be recycled in curbside recycling schemes or at supermarkets. Cartridge Save is gradually rolling out sustainable alternatives to LDPE and EPE foam. |
